******  NEXT WEEKEND – PENTECOST SUNDAY – WEAR RED TO MASS  ******

Pentecost is the fullness and end of the Easter Season.  The apostles of Jesus were filled with His Holy Spirit and were able to boldly and courageously proclaim their faith in Him through their words and actions.  As a sign of our commitment to Christ and our faith, everyone is asked to WEAR SOMETHING RED to Mass next weekend.

EASTER FLOWER DONATIONS:  Memorial Flower lists are available around the churches this weekend.

*** FOURTEENTH ANNUAL “ED CAPRISTO” MEMORIAL JOINT PARISH GOLF OUTING ***

This annual event is taking shape and we are beginning in earnest to make plans for another fantastic, successful event.  It will be held this year on Monday, June 18 – Youghiogheny Golf Club.
•     Invitations: This week all of our business friends, as well as those who have golfed in the past were sent invitations to participate with donations, signage or golfing in a foursome.  ONLY 128 golfers – first come, first served.  New golfers can get golf forms from around the churches or call the rectory.
•     Parishioner Participation:  The attached flyer outlines the many ways all parishioners are invited to participate.  Your participation is vital for the outings success, as well as keeping our parishes viable.
•      All Cash Raffle:  All parishioners were mailed (4) four raffle tickets.  The number will be based on the 7pm PA Lottery “Pick 4” on June 18, 2018.  Each ticket has 2 possible winning numbers.  Donation is $2.00. The winning ticket will get $1,000.00; the number above and below will receive $250.00.  BONUS PRIZE:  If one of the three winning tickets hits again on July 4, 2018, we will give a $10,000.00 cash prize.  Great Father’s Day gift idea.

****** SUMMER FLEA MARKET CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS ******

Looking for a chance to get out of the house for a few hours?  A chance to do something to make a difference?  This is it! We've lost several of our dedicated volunteers this past year to death or illness, and are in great need of new volunteers, especially for drop-off days June 11 to July 2, to help with receiving, sorting and tagging items.

The hours are short (9-noon Monday thru Friday and 9-11am weekends.)  You can work a few hours, a few days, or a day or two each week – or whatever suits your schedule.  It's a great opportunity to meet other parishioners and spend some time getting to know them.  And it's a great way to help your parish with a fun and interesting fund-raising tradition!  If you can help any or all days call Debbi Lesko 412-694-6149 or the church office 412-469-0196.

STUFFED PEPPER DINNER:  Holy Trinity invites you to come and enjoy a delicious home made stuffed pepper dinner next Sunday, May 20 from noon to 5:00pm.  Bring the family!  Adults $9.00, Children $5.00.
