HOMEMADE HOAGIE SALE THIS WEEKEND

Everyone is invited to stop after Mass and buy some fantastic homemade hoagiesfor your family or friends.  They are a real bargain at$5.00 each and all the proceeds go to the benefit of our parish.

ALL SOULS REMEMBRANCES

“Books of Remembrance:” You will find in the center aisle of both churches the “Memorial Books” in which you are asked to write the names of all your deceased family, friends and loved ones you would like to have remembered in a special way at our All Souls celebrations on Sunday, November 5 at both the 8:30am & 11:30am Masses.

“Masses of Remembrance:” On Sunday, November 5, there will be special Masses of Remembrance for all those who died since last All Souls Day from Christ the Light of the World Parish and St. Joseph Parish.  Invitations will be sent to one family member of those to be remembered and they are asked to notify other family members.

SCHEDULING 2018 MASSES

Masses will be scheduled on a first come first served basis.  Only two can be scheduled on a weekend, the other two must be during the week.  Call the church office at 412-469-0196.

ELECTION DAY SPAGHETTI DINNER

Christ the Light of the World and St. Joseph Parishes will be hosting a spaghetti lunch/dinner on Election Day, November 7th from 11am – 6pm in Holy Name Hall.  Save the date and watch the bulletin for more information.

TREASURED GIFTS HOLIDAY VENDOR EVENT

Save the date:  Saturday, November 11 from 10:00am to 4:00pm in Holy Name Church Hall. We’ll have vendors, food, baked goods, Chinese auction, raffles and so much more! DUQUESNE CRIME WATCH

Duquesne Crime Watch will be meeting the 2nd Monday of every Month at 7pm in Holy Name Church Hall beginning Monday October 9th.   Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings to help keep our neighborhood safe.

HOLY TRINITY STUFFED CABBAGE DINNER

The Men’s/Ladies Club is sponsoring a Stuffed Cabbage Dinner on Sunday, October 15th from noon to 5pm.  Cost is $9.00 for adults, $5.00 for children.

AN EVENING IN HONOR OF OUR LAD OF FATIMA

 St. Agnes Church on Monday, October 16 at 7:00 PM. There will be recitation of the rosary, outdoor candlelight procession, benediction, and social to follow.  All are invited!

BROWN BAG LUNCH BINGO

Sponsored by the Women’s Club of Duquesne on Sunday, October 29 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Foster Ave., Duquesne. Doors open at Noon, Early Birds at 1:00. Donation is $10.
