  • Sign-up for the bus:  The bus is free but you must make a reservation.
  • Talk to people who walked last year, enjoy some refreshments, join the Team and help us reach our goal!

THANK YOU

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers. — Ephesians 1:16

Dear Christ the Light of the World & St. Joseph Parish Families:
June 7, 2014 was a special day for me. Not only was this the day I was ordained into the Priesthood, but it was the day I received my first parish assignment.  It is hard to believe it’s been over a year since I began priestly ministry.

I want to formally thank Fr. Tom, our pastor, rectory office staff, and those in music ministry for all of their help. And, most especially, I want to thank each and every one of you for continually welcoming me as one of your own.  I look forward to our ongoing relationship.  Be assured of my prayers for you. Please do not hesitate to come to New York for a visit or to contact me at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 66 East Main Street, Hamburg, NY 14075, (716) 649-2765, X 512 and at Jadams@sspphamburg.org.  I deeply appreciate all of your well-wishes, thoughtful remembrances and especially your prayers during my journey and most recently for my first anniversary of ordination.  I treasure all of them as I cherish all of you. God’s love and blessings,  Fr. John Adams

FLEA MARKET THANK YOU

Another very successful summer flea market is completed.  We want to thank not only chairwoman, Louise Yevick and her dozen or so helpers who accept donations, go through the boxes, wash and price everything for three weeks but also the dozens of volunteers who sell inside and out; who donate items for sale, Chinese auction items, food and baked goods; who cook and prepare food; who sell chances; who come at 7 am to set up outside and close at days end.  This could not be a success without you!  This year, we realized a profit of $6,343.21.
