ALL SOULS REMEMBRANCES

“Books of Remembrances:”  You will find today in the center aisle of both churches the “Memorial Books” in which you are asked to write the names of all your deceased family, friends and loved ones you would like to have remembered in a special way at our All Souls celebrations on Sunday, November 1 at both the 9:00am & 11:30am Masses.

“Masses of Remembrance:”  On Sunday, November 1, there will be a special Mass of Remembrance for all those who died since last All Souls Day from Christ the Light of the World Parish and St. Joseph Parish.  Invitations are being sent to one family member of those to be remembered and they are asked to notify other family members.

RCIA CLASSES ARE BEGINNING

The first session for those making their faith journey in Jesus and desiring to do this by becoming Catholic will begin on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 6:30 PM.  We will be meeting in the Holy Name Church Hall.  If anyone still feels the call of Jesus in his or her heart by making this journey in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), please come to this first session.  We presently have four adults who are making this journey and three children in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC).  We ask that the Parish Faith Community keeps them in supportive, loving prayer as they make this journey of faith.
