  • Family Special: We are trying to encourage families with children to have the opportunity to come to our breakfast. Families with multiple children, only pay for 1 child and their other children eat free.
  • Volunteer:  We need volunteers to work that morning.  It is a great opportunity for those who work during the week to volunteer for our parish.  If you can give a few hours, call Debbie Lesko (412-297-1732), Terry Fuller (412-466  4223) or email Fr. Dennis at
  • Make a donation:  If anyone would like to make a monetary donation to help defray expenses and increase profit, send it to the rectory or drop in the collection.

Next weekend, we will be having an Easter Flower Sale of all varieties and colors of varying prices.  They will be available for purchase after the Saturday evening Mass, as well as at the breakfast on Sunday morning.  What a nice way to begin Holy Week, by getting flowers for someone.

Our annual event for Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention, “Our Healing Touch” will be held on Saturday, April 28 at the K. of C. Hall, West Mifflin.  There are pink flyers around the churches with all the details on how you can get tickets for the event, volunteer, make donations, or remember & honor a living or deceased loved ones who has suffered with this disease.

To a spiritual super charged day of renewal on Saturday, April 14 at the A. J. Palombo center. We are trying to recruit a busload full of excited, motivated men to spend a day in getting a pep talk on how to make God more relevant to a man’s daily living.  This is for all men, single/married, old/young or in between. If you find yourself spiritually underfed; your marital relationship is lifeless or dead; you need to reconnect in a meaningful way with God; then this day will help recharge you.  We are planning a  possible breakfast in the HN hall and going together on a bus. All this for a donation of $35.00. Grants are available if money is tight.  For information or if you are interested, call Ray Judy (412-518-2152), Paul Ruhl (412-680-6383) or or Patrick Kerr (412-999-5272) or

In the Easter Sunday bulletin, there will be a special and wonderful announcement for all women of our parishes.  This will be an opportunity that you won’t want to miss.  Stay tuned!!

OUTREACH LENTEN PARTICIPATION: Feed the Hungry (with dignity and ease)

This year, instead of asking for food items, etc., we are simply asking you to donate food gift cards.  This way everyone young and old can participate, without the worry of having to carry bags to church. This will allow those who receive to have the dignity to buy what they want and those giving to drop the cards in the collection or mail to the rectory.  Mark the envelope “feed the hungry.”  Monetary donations are acceptable.   Coin Collection:  Begin saving your loose coins for the offering for the poor to be given at our Holy Thursday Ministry of Service.

Make a donation in memory or honor of a friend, family member or loved one.  Use your Easter flower collection envelope and drop your donation in the collection anytime up until Easter.  Be sure to include your name.  A memorial listing will be published after Easter.

For a $10.00 donation, each ticket gives you 36 chances to win, commencing on Easter Sunday, April 8 through Mother’s Day, May 13.  There is $100.00 winner each day, except for Easter Sunday and Mother’s Day which has a $200.00 prize.

The Duquesne/West Mifflin K of C. is hosting a “Night at the Races” on Saturday, May 5. Admission - $5.00 (includes a light buffet). Horses - $5.00. BYOB.  For tickets and information, call Matt Gracan (412-466-0500) or Dave Palcsey Jr. (412-672-6222)
