NEWS FROM OUR ADOPTED TROOPS

Dear Annette & Russ:  I would like to thank you for your package.  You say sorry for not getting me smokes.  I am not worried about it since I need to stop smoking, anyway.  You took the time to send me a package so that’s something to be thankful for.  I guess since you adopted me, you would like to know something about me.  I am 30 years old from Ohio.  I am married.  My wife is from Texas and we have 2 kids together. Both are girls, one is 2 years old, the other 2 months.  When my 2 year old was born I left to go to Iraq (for the third time) when she was 1 month old, so I have seen her for about 6 months of her life.  My 2 month old was 11 days old when I left to come here.  So I miss my kids.  I love the outdoors, country music, fishing and hunting. I also have a stepdaughter who is 12 years old who lives with her father in Texas.  I wanted to take time to write you and THANK YOU for the package.  God bless you.  Please write back, it is always a good day when you get something as simple as a letter.  Very Respectfully,  David Martin.
