BREAST CANCER AWARENESS BENEFIT THANKS/REPORT
This year’s “Breast Cancer Benefit” was another huge success. 225 people gathered to support the cause of Breast Cancer Awareness, plus helping provide mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women. We are grateful for the great charity and kindness of so many people; the hard working committee/volunteers of over 25 people who formed a team to provide a smooth, well run event; those who donated 65 specialty baskets; the dozens of people who donated food items, drinks and desserts; the beautiful music provided by the “Judy Figel Trio”; and most of all the people of both parishes who spent lots of money for a good cause. The 50/50 alone gave $586.00 to the winner. All of these came together to realize a profit of $10,392.10.

UPDATED PARISH SHARE PROGRAM REPORT
We would like to update you on the status of the 2011 Parish Share Program. To date, we have received $12,714.00 in outright donations and pledge payments towards our assessed goal of $47,813.00 from 113 givers leaving us a balance of $35,099.00. We are grateful to all those who have participated so far. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: We have received 5 gifts/pledges of $1,000.00 or more and 6 gifts/pledges of $500.00 or more. Just think! If 35 more people gave a $1,000.00 donation, we would hit our goal or if 70 people gave a $500.00 donation, we would hit our goal. All the monies that would put us past our goal could stay in the parish tax free. However, anything you donate in any amount is appreciated.
