This weekend is the celebration of the Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). We celebrate this weekend with grateful hearts for the real presence of Christ in the gift of the Eucharist as this sacrament makes the most intimate connection for us between our humanity and the divine. This spiritual food drives us to live the Word that we hear proclaimed in our daily lives through the strength that it gives in the form of graces. We are called to live as “people of the Eucharist” and this spiritual food empowers each of us in a very unique way to live the presence of the Eucharist everyday. The Family Table of the Altar gathers us together each week for the experience of living as God’s “Eucharistic People” and sharing this family love not just with each other, but also with the entire human family in life. Live the Eucharist and the Love which it contains in God!
