Let us remember and celebrate the gift of the Eucharist, the real presence of Jesus that touches our inner-self so deeply, strongly, and intimately. This is the spiritual food that helps us to love and act in God’s name. Let us remember and celebrate our veterans, both living and deceased. They gave their lives out of love so that we can live in freedom, realize the “American Dream” according to the vision of all those who founded our country, living together in peace, living by particular convictions and principles. In their loving sacrifice, they show us what it means to live as “one nation under God”. Let us remember and celebrate the lives of everyone who has been called home to live with God for all eternity. Through their words, deeds, example, and inspiration of their life, they taught us how to act on God’s behalf. With grateful hearts, we remember and celebrate Jesus in the Eucharist, all of our veterans, both living and deceased, and all who have died, for these are the ways in which we are loved always.
