We turn to the example and inspiration of the Holy Family for their model of living the bond of divine life in family living by being there for each other, as a support, helper, and loving unity that is life giving.
I will be away from Sunday afternoon, December 27, 2015 and return on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. I will be in Jupiter, Florida, celebrating a family wedding and visiting for a while. Fr. Jack Nanz will provide coverage for New Year’s Day and the Sunday Masses. Fr. Jim Seeger will provide funeral coverage for this time and do the weekday mass on December 30 at Noon.
May the Spirit of Christmas, which is Love, always be alive in our hearts each day throughout 2016 in order to bring God’s peace in all the world. On behalf of the entire staff of Christ the Light of the World and St. Joseph Parishes and myself, have a blessed and Happy, Healthy 2016!!!!
A New Year's Blessing:
May there be peace in the higher regions. May there be peace in the firmament. May there be peace on earth. May the water flow peacefully. May the herbs and plants grow peacefully. May all the divine power bring unto us peace. The Supreme Lord is peace. May we all be in peace, peace and only peace. And may that peace come to each of us. —From the Hindu Tradition
