THANKS TO ALL who contributed in any way through the donation of goods and services to the Fr. Beiting Appalachian Mission Center in Louisa, Kentucky. I am very grateful for your support of this reach-out as we continue to “stretch out” our arms to embrace others through loving ministry in the name of God. Five trailer loads of furniture, housewares, toys, clothes, and other miscellaneous items were taken down throughout the entire summer. In addition to our participation from Duquesne Nation, 15 other parishes from the Diocese of Pittsburgh participated. The people of Appalachia were truly touched in their hearts by the loving presence of God through you. My hope is to invite the Director of the Mission, Dom Capria, to come and talk to us about the works of the center. Since the storage trailer that I was using had to be returned, I cannot accept any donations until the spring. I will make an announcement in the bulletin and in Church when items can be accepted once again. Thank you very much, faith family, for all you do so others can be touched by the love of God in your works of charity!!!!
