LOVING GOD, HEAR OUR PRAYER

That we may not hold on to the hurts and events of the past, may we let go and come to experience the hope and promise of a new life, we pray……………… 

That we may treasure the traditions of the past but realize we must not be absorbed with the things of the past, we pray…………………….. 

That we may realize that we must let go of those things from the past that keep us from growing and becoming whole and fully alive, we pray……………. 

For those who cannot forgive and move on, may they realize when they hold on to resentment, the person they resent still controls how they act and feel, we pray…………………. 

That we may come to realize the joy and excitement that can come from letting go and being forgiving, may the Lord inspire us to new life, we pray……………… 

For the engaged couples who will be starting their marriage preparation sessions this weekend, may they come to realize that a wedding is for a day, a marriage is for a life time, we pray……………
