June 2008 - Ed Capristo Memorial Golf Outing

Calling all golfers! We'd love to get a group of onFIRE members together to participate in the Joint Parish Golf Outing this year. If you don't want to golf, there are plenty of tasks to help with throughout the day. If you can't take the day off, you can always join us for dinner that evening!

June 2008 - Father D's Anniversary Celebration

No one knows how to throw a party like Father D! Get ready for a day of festivities to celebrate his 25th Anniversary! Sunday, June 29th is the big day - mark your calendars!!

Bishop Zubik will be on hand for a special Mass at 11:30 and the official party will be held later that day at The Sheraton Station Square. Cocktails will start at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 6:45 pm. Entertainment will be provided by
We Three and there is also a block of rooms reserved at half price for anyone wanting to stay the night. Tickets are $40.

July 2008 - Pirate Game

Come on out and enjoy a summer night at PNC Park with your onFIRE friends. We may even make our way to one of the many hot spots on the North Shore after the game. Let's Go Bucs!

WHO: Everyone ages 25-35

WHEN: Saturday, July 26th - Pirates vs. Padres at 7:05 pm

WHERE: We'll meet in front of the Clemente Statue outside PNC Park at 6:30 pm to purchase tickets together.

COST: $9.00 per ticket

August 2008 - Night at the Races

Join us for another great CLW event! There are plenty of ways to help out - volunteer or attend and show your support!!

WHEN: Saturday, August 23rd

WHERE: Holy Name Hall

Help is needed with admission, taking bets, paying off, kitchen help, raffles, etc. If you're interested in volunteering, please click here to email Mickey Petrozza or give him a call at 412-466-4735.

August/September 2008 - Picnic in the Park

Nothing's better than a picnic with family and friends on a summer afternoon! Pack up the kids, grab the hot dogs and hamburgers and get ready to grill! The onFIRE guys will be our grill masters for this event and everyone is asked to bring their favorite picnic dish to share with the group.

WHO: Everyone ages 25-35

WHEN: Dates are being decided...it will be a Sunday afternoon in August or September after 11:30 mass.

October 2008 - CLW Helps the Hungry

Please join CLW to help the fight against hunger.

WHO: Everyone ages 25-35 is invited to volunteer for this CLW event.

It is extremely important that you RSVP for this event if you choose to participate. We will need to submit a final number one week prior to the volunteer day.

WHEN: Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

WHERE: Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank - Duquesne, PA. We will be in the repack center working in their warehouse in helping to repack bulk product or salvaged items. It is a fun, easy way to make a huge difference. Their Repack Center is privileged to have an average of 600 volunteers per month to help repackage over 300,000 pounds of food and grocery items! These items go into the warehouse and are a part of the one million pounds of food and grocery products sent to over 350 agencies in Allegheny County. These agencies service over 120,000 men, women and children in our neighborhoods. They can't do it without our support!

COST: FREE!
