Thanks to everyone who helped make the Feed the Intersection event possible. Donations from both members and parishioners totaled $155.00 to help buy the food. The menu consisted of a classic CLW cookbook recipe, chicken stuffed shells, along with salad, rolls, and cake for dessert. onFIRE members prepared the meal in the St. Hedwig kitchen, making over 275 shells. The meal was served to over 75 people on Tuesday, June 30th at the Intersection in McKeesport. In addition to the onFIRE members volunteering that day, a local high school student also volunteered her time. She joined the event as a way to earn community service hours for the National Honor Society.
